So, I've been eagerly waiting to read this. It didn't disappoint. The beginning of it had me a little "eh", as I thought the main character was a little too weepy. But, I quickly realized that Hadley is a sweet, tough, girl next door type and is the total opposite of weepy. I think I'd cry a few times too if I were gone for that long from my family. I wish the story had been longer!! Especially with more input from Max. He's a man every woman dreams of. The plot line is fast paced and towards the end, there are a couple time jumps, so it's even faster paced. But, all around this was the sweetest read about true loves, separated by misunderstanding and reconnected years later. This author has a knack for sweet, fantasy type romances and I just love that. Because who wants to read a romance that doesn't sound like a fairytale!? Can't wait to see what comes next!

This would have had 5 stars, but I noticed quite a few spelling/grammar errors that were pretty obvious. I know no one is perfect, but these were too basic and there were just too many. I also noticed inconsistencies with the timeline. At one point 8yrs was mentioned and in another 6yrs was implied, etc. STILL, a very good, sweet read!

This is the third book I have read from this author. It's not my favorite of the three, but I really did enjoy it. It was sweet and beautifully written.
I love this second chance story. The young love gone awry. The anise of a narcissist. And the slow and steady devotion of a true love. With great chemistry!
This was an amazing story about first loves and second chances. Hadley, Max, Logan and Terry were best friends. They went everywhere together. Max and Hadley had their experience with first love. They thought they would be together forever and then some circumstances occur that change all that. I loved their story and couldn't put it down. I read it in one day. You will have to read it for yourself to find out what happens with Max and Hadley.
Love the What Remains series. The only problem I see? I read them through and get to the end much to fast. Feel like I could read these books forever.
When you realize that your life consists of mistakes, disappointments and lies, sometimes, you just want to burn all your bridges and start over. Hadley has lost her innocence and been badly burned in love. As she searches for answers and healing she finds her life can survive and grow from the ashes of her defeat This is a sweet tale of love lost and found again. I really enjoyed this book..
This is the second book of Brocious's that I've read. And again I'm reminded of how comforting and crazy they can make me feel. We have the sweet protagonist, who is also at times bold. I found myself shouting, "Stop!" And then feeling completely fine a moment later. And seriously, reading this author's books is like tucking in for a home cooked meal. You'll feel excited, comforted, and then full with happiness. Another great book. Loved.
