While i loved the others the other books in the series this one pretty much ruined the series for me. The heroine was mind raped by her mate and then gang raped by all of her mates followers/men for years yet she has to fight her lust and overwhelming mating bond to save the hero in the end? What crap, they end the story happly un bonded because they have too many emotional issues to over come, but hey, all good because they do love each other. Secondary couple in the story were also screwed up. She was bonded to a brilliant man she loved that went crazy, killed their daughter and tried to kill her. She killed him and now runs a shelter for abused women and we never find out what type of magical person her new boyfriend is. You want to think the people you read about overcome issues not fall to them eventually.

Oh man I have to say I have to say I love this book and this series . I cant wait to read more on the Calydons and how they are all doing . This one book I just don't know what to say it was a amazing. I was hooked and had to see it through to the end . I really didn't want to have the story end but I am glad it did with everything turning out for the best. Stephanie really pulled me in this time I felt like I was right there with each step that Rhiannon took . Her and Zack make the perfect team. I loved how he was able to get through to her with love. oh and I was So Happy Thano was in this book I cant wait to see where his journey will have him going. Thanks again for another great book <3
Another winner in The Order of the Blade series by Stephanie Rowe. She keeps the stories coming and getting better each time. In Darkness Possessed, Zach, is searching for the “fire god” who holds the weapon they need to keep from going “rogue”. He is paired with Rhiannon, who is hoping to destroy the one person Zach is looking to find.

When faced with finding their “sheva” their one true mate, the Calydon warrior will fight the urges for fear of going “rogue”. Are Zach and Rhiannon, destined to be together? Zach is looking to save his fellow warrior and Rhiannon is out for revenge.

Stephanie Rowe writes fantastic paranormal romance. She keeps you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to end. Get a copy of Darkness Possessed, I guarantee you will not be dissatisfied. Kudos to Stephanie Rowe.
I DO LIKE THE ORDER OF THE BLADE. BUT THESE LAST FEW BOOKS HAVE GONE DOWN HILL FOR ME. ****SPOILER ALERT**** I WAS HAPPY WHEN THEY FINALLY PUT A FEMALE WARRIOR BUT SHE DISSAPOINTED ME!!! SHE WAS WEAK, WHINY...HER FREIND WAS WAAAAYYY BETTER. SOME PARTS WERE CONFUSING SO MUCH GOING ON THEN BAM THEY MADE IT THROUGH. STILL NOT CLEAR IF SHE IS HIS SHEVA.... EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS THE BAD GUYS, HOW CAN THAT HAPPEN??? IS THE ORDER DISINTEGRATING??? CUZ THEY KEEP LOSING MEMBERS. THAT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF THE SERIES, I DONT LIKE THAT THEY MADE A GREAT TEAM TOGETHER. SINCE THANOS LEFT WITH THE OTHER GROUP IS THE SERIES FINISHED?? CUZ NO MORE MEMBERS LEFT TO TALK ABOUT??
First off I really like this series. I have read all the books up to this one. This was one of my least favorites. It was fairly well written and not a bad book I was just disappointed with the fact that it didn't relate much to the rest of the books in the series. With the exception of one, there was no other involvement with the group of Order members I've been reading about. This could be a stand alone book because it is so distant from the storyline presented previously. I also was somewhat disappointed with the ending and am now concerned about how the dynamic of the group is going to be affected in the following books. I'm worried they will be much less interesting after the changes presented in this book but am ever optimistic that I could be wrong. I do enjoy this author and have read several of her works, just felt this one went off on its own somewhere. Hoping the next one is more redeeming.
She did it again! .. , Zach Roderick and Rhiannon Diaz are on a mission to take down the same terrible evil , "the Fire God" that has taken over a South American jungle. Zach is trying to save his friend Thano and meets a beautiful woman Rhianna who has come back to the jungle to kill that man that is hunting her. Zach has to let go of his past in order to move on in the future to not only save Thano but to save the woman that he has fallen for..Rhianna has to embrace her future so she can move on from the past.Both realize that it's love that will help them both but trusting in each other to do so takes them on a journey of dark pasts that neither want to share with the other.
Stephanie Rowe will take you on a very intense ride with this story that is a race against the clock to save a friend and each other.
I literally could not put this book down! the heat and passion of these two characters was amazing!
Oh Miss Rowe, the places you will go. Oh and the places you take us with you! You will start off reading Darkness Possessed in the comfort of your home, snuggled up to your favorite throw, but just a few chapters in you'll be thrown into a dense, humid forest surrounded by danger and oh yeah.... the sexiest Calydon to ever breath fire!
In this book we get Ryan's story. He of course will meet his Sheva, who is a feisty, kick butt jungle lady. Throughout the book she battles some demons, unravels more secrets, and takes on fate head on. So in short, it mirrors every other order book. But I mean this in the best way possible. Rowe has this incredible way of making me feel like I get to read my favorite book over and over - with a fresh ending each time, so I never get bored of it. (I promise that will make sense if you read the series). These books are amazing. They have the perfect combination of romance, humor, heartbreak, and action.
I promise you, it is worth it to keep reading. A few more secrets are revealed, and this book even leads into a spinoff novel that's out now.
My only complaint is that they take forever to be released! But I guess delayed gratification isn't soooo bad /
